Certified Agile Leadership 2 (CAL2) Program
Join us on a 11-month journey to discover and build your catalyst leadership, improve your self-awareness and intent and positively impact your organization.
Our CAL 2 Program is a 11-month education and practice-oriented leadership program for participants who have previously attended a Certified Agile Leadership 1 (CAL 1) Workshop and are ready to begin a deeper journey into improving their leadership mindset and practice. In 2019, we are only running a single program and it has sold out. Register your interest in joining our program in 2020. We will share information and updates later in the year.
A virtual and professionally facilitated online leadership cohort education and practice program over a 11-month period from March 2019 through January 2020. Program combines whole class education sessions, small practice cohorts, and 1-1 peer and professional coaching.
NOTE: 2020 Program may differ as we are seeking to build a rolling engagement model.
This program is an online program using virtual collaboration via Zoom, Slack and Google Drive. It is available globally and supports participants in the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia time zones.
Small 3-5 person cohorts share and practice their skills together. This is where the real empowerment and connection is established.
NOTE: Sessions will be recorded for participants who are unable to attend.
Individual 1-1 professional and peer coaching sessions to focus on your development and build your awareness and skills. Sessions are used for personal feedback and development focus, and peer practice, coaching and development.
Participants undergo an individual 360-degree assessment, 1-1 coaching, and peer-based collaboration on their leadership mindset and awareness. This program is based on the Leadership Agility Framework introduced in the CAL 1 Workshop and helps leaders see their own leadership experience and mindset in practice.

Participants conduct a Cultural Assessment and create a V2MOM, an Organizational Vision and Alignment tool, on a desired focus of their organization. Through these approaches, participants will facilitate improved organizational awareness, alignment and execution of strategic initiatives – improving business outcomes.
Prerequisites for joining our program in 2020:
The cost of this program in 2019 is $3,950. This is an all-inclusive price covering over 32 contact hours of global education sessions, professionally facilitated cohort practice sessions, and multiple 1-1 coaching sessions. Furthermore, it includes a 360 leadership assessment, and an organizational culture assessment. Finally, it covers administrative costs including credit card fees, certification fees, and tool support. 2020 Program costs may vary.
Pete Behrens is a Leadership Agility Coach with Trail Ridge focusing on leadership and organizational agility. He provides guidance to senior executives on how to transform themselves and their companies to work more effectively with more agility. Pete is a Certified Leadership Agility 360 Coach providing one-on-one assessment, development and guidance for increasing the agility of organizational leaders. Pete is a Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) and a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) working deeply with organizations to improve their organizational agility. He was the founder of the Scrum Alliance CEC Program. His focus today mostly centers on Developing Agile Leaders through public events and private engagements. He led the development of the Certified Agile Leadership (CAL) Program for the Scrum Alliance. Pete served on the board of directors for the Scrum Alliance from 2016 – 2018, providing strategic consulting and guidance to improving the world of work.
These awesome people are not only graduates of the 2018 CAL 2 Program, they are leaders, facilitators, coaches, and practitioners in their own right. Each of them is working as a coach or leader within an organization and brings that experience and professionalism to the program. This program is enriched through their willingness to share their experiences and facilitation in the cohort programs.
